Host accounts:

• Email address and password (for authentication)
• Property details you enter (name, location, tips, photos, contacts)
• Billing information (processed by Stripe, we do not store card details)

Guests:

• Chat messages sent through the guest experience
• Language preference selected
• No account or personal information is required from guests

2. How we use your data

• To provide the Digital Host service (answering guest questions based on your property data)
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send important account notifications (e.g. trial ending, payment issues)
• We do not sell your data to third parties

3. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database and authentication (EU-hosted)
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI model for guest conversations
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — website hosting
• Fathom Analytics — privacy-friendly website analytics (no personal data collected, no cookies, GDPR-compliant)

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Guest conversations

Guest chat messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate responses. Messages are not stored permanently by us. Anthropic's data retention policies apply to messages processed by their API.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with encryption at rest. We use HTTPS for all connections. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data at any time through the admin dashboard
• Update or correct your information
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
• Export your property data

7. Cookies and analytics

We use minimal local storage for authentication sessions — these are essential for the service to function. We use Fathom Analytics for anonymous, privacy-friendly website analytics. Fathom does not use cookies, does not track personal data, and is fully GDPR-compliant. We do not use any third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or social media trackers. You can opt out of analytics via the cookie banner on our website.

8. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible for 90 days in case you resubscribe. After that, it may be deleted.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
